Position Summary
Designs and conducts computer application and insurance training, investigates billing practices and customizes solutions, provides technical support and customer service training.
Plays a key role in initiatives involving staff reclassification and Process Redesign. Maintains computer applications by conduction QA assessments and security checks.
Essential Job Duties
- Designs and conducts customized computer application and insurance training sessions and workshops. Includes policies, philosophies on usage and security guidelines.
- Investigates billing errors, customizes solutions and implements process redesign.
- Spearheads training and competency testing.
- Conducts QA assessments on usage of applications. Ensures that usage is in line with hospital and ACN strategies.
- Designs and maintains educational materials.
- Plays a crucial role in planning and implementing Process Redesign initiatives.
- Provides application support. Analyzes and trouble shoots to resolve issues.
- Stays informed of applications’ features and updates, Learns new computer programs and obtains certification as needed.
- Conducts ongoing testing of applications to ensure integrity of modules and data.
- Works closely with Practice Administration, Medical Directors, Information System and Patient Financial Services.
- Coaches and promotes Service Excellence.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Required criteria:
3+ years of related experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent GED
Preferred criteria:
Bachelor’s Degree
