Work independently while enjoying shared clinical decision-making, inspirational leadership, supportive colleagues and much more. Regularly evaluate patient outcomes, and participate in initiatives focused on improving quality and performance, such as minimizing readmissions of our patients.  

This is a full-time, M-F 8:00AM - 4:00PM day shift position located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Preferred Criteria

  • Masters prepared
  • Certification in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOCNCB)
  • Applicable experience in an academic medical center (includes experience partnering with interns/residents/attendings

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse license
  • At least two years of Wound Ostomy Continence experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills to drive engagement
  • An independent thinker who can quickly resolve patient care issues utilizing the skills and knowledge of the interdisciplinary team
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
