Program Manager - Cardiology - Full Time - Days

As a Program Manager for the division of Cardiology program, you will be responsible for the clinical, administrative and budgetary functions and maintain authority and accountability for functioning in the Department.  In collaboration with the Department Administrator, you will ensure high quality, cost-effective care is provided, while overseeing clinical and administrative staff.  You will  be responsible for implementing projects to ensure the achievement of hospital’s goals, collaborate with staff from Hospital Operations including finance, marketing, planning and medical staff to ensure projects are completed and reflect the quality associated with the service line in an optimally matrixed organization.  Transform your life and career in this continuously evolving role. This is a full-time, Monday – Friday, day shift position located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Preferred Criteria:

• Master’s Degree in Hospital/Business Administration
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of Cerner, Eagle and Kronos

Required Criteria:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a supervisory capacity
• Experience with program development, implementation and evaluation required
• Strong business acumen and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including experience with reporting metrics
