Licensed Practical Nurse - NYP Medical Group Brooklyn – Days

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care as delegated by and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Contributes to the plan of patient care and assists in providing a therapeutic environment. Functions within the policies and procedures of the hospital, divisions, and the Clinical Nursing Departments.

This is a full time day position at NYP Medical Group Brooklyn located at 38 6th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY

Preferred Criteria

• Podiatry (Wound Care) Pain Management and Procedures, Neurology, Neurosurgery, PEDS Ortho Adult and PEDS, Rheumatology experience.

Required Criteria

• Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Current Licensure and registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State

• Knowledge in Principles of infection control

• Knowledge in Principles of performance improvements

• ​Knowledge in Principles of delegation
