Director of Nursing – Perioperative Services and Central Sterile

As Director of Perioperative Services and Central Sterile, you will drive the delivery of over 100 patient-focused nursing and ancillary staff, maintain an environment that fosters shared governance and performance at the highest level.  With 18 OR suites and oversight of 15,000 cases per year in surgical oncology, endoscopy, cardiac and much more, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our world-renowned surgeons.  In addition, you will assist with new space planning and site development, including the Center for Community Health (CCH) - a six story outpatient facility opening in 2020 featuring an Ambulatory Surgery and Endoscopy Center.

Required Criteria

  • Master’s Degree
  • A minimum of five years’ managerial experience in healthcare administration with experience in Perioperative Services
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
  • Experience collaborating with physicians to drive strategic/business planning and financial and operational performance
  • Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
