The Center for Community Health, opening  February 2021 in the heart of Park Slope at our NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, will set a new bar in personalized outpatient care -- from diagnosis to treatment -- by integrating new technologies and innovative clinical approaches to provide the highest quality care and enhance the patient experience. 

This 400,000 –square foot, multi-specialty ambulatory center encompasses a Comprehensive Cancer and Women’s Health Center, 12 ambulatory surgery operating rooms and Multispecialty physician practices.

Clinical Practice Manager – Multi-Specialty Surgery – Center for Community Health

As a Clinical Practice Manager, you will help mentor, inspire and engage staff.  You will be responsible for daily operations, practice leadership and setting short-term and long-term goals for the Outpatient Practices including Orthopedics, Vascular and Specialty Surgery.  Participate in hospital-wide continuous readiness activities to facilitate ongoing hospital compliance with Joint Commission, CMS and DOH requirements. The Clinical Practice Manager will serve as the catalyst for developing patient-focused solutions to influence the overall delivery of care and services to our patients while overseeing the operational, financial and quality of the practice.  Transform your life and career in this continuously evolving role. This is a full-time, Monday – Friday, day shift position with occasional Saturday coverage as needed.  This position is located at the Center for Community Health at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Previous supervisory experience in outpatient Orthopedic or Multi-Specialty Surgery Practice
  • Knowledge of Article 28 regulations and guidelines

Required Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated supervisory or practice operations experience required
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills
  • Strong commitment to providing an outstanding patient experience
