In this role, you will have ongoing hands-on exposure to construct and maintain wooden items throughout the institution. You will be directly involved in repairs and maintaining office equipment. Bring your knowledge of blueprints and drawings to the table when participating in construction projects. Help maintain equipment inventory and complete repairs on wooden windows, and various wall coverings.

This is a full time day shift position including other shifts as needed, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital Center for Community Health.

Required Criteria:

• High school diploma or GED

• Sufficient previous experience in construction and facilities management

• Basic computer literacy is required.

• General maintenance abilities

• Building carpentry/maintenance techniques and operations

• Knowledge on specifications and inspection procedures
