The Center for Community Health, opening February 2021 in the heart of Park Slope at our NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, will set a new bar in personalized outpatient care—from diagnosis to treatment—by integrating new technologies and innovative clinical approaches to provide the highest quality care and enhance the patient experience. 

This 400,000 –square foot, multi-specialty ambulatory center encompasses a Comprehensive Cancer and Women’s Health Center, 12 ambulatory surgery operating rooms and Multispecialty physician practices.

AV Collaboration Specialist – Center for Community Health—Days

At the Center for Community Health, you’ll find a patient-focused, engaging, and supportive environment.  Provide AV projection support for all conference rooms throughout NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Set up meetings for hospital executives. Maintain and distribute AV equipment. Assist with videoconference testing and execution, as well as live media production. Handle all requests for media duplication, packaging and distribution. Ensure the continuous delivery of high-quality customer service to internal and external clients.

This is a full-time day position located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital’s Center for Community Health.

Preferred Criteria

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Cisco Video Network Specialist
  • 1-2 years of experience

Required Criteria 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with both Mac and PC computers
  • Must be familiar with various video conferencing hardware and software, desktop configurations
  • Must be knowledgeable on various audio video individual specs, H.323, SIP and H.264
  • Strong understanding of network principal and fundamental Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol
  • Proficient in TelePresence Management Suite (TMS), Cisco TelePresence MSE 8000 series, Cisco TelePresence Conductor, Cisco TelePresence Content Server
  • Strong commitment to providing an outstanding patient experience
