Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Inpatient

Take on this position, responsible for psychiatric assessment of adults, children and adolescents with behavioral health disorders in the emergency department and answering consults on the inpatient units. Collaborate with other professionals to determine the best care setting for the patient and family.

This is a full time day shift position at Lawrence

Hospital Bronxville , NY             

Preferred Criteria:

• PMH NP with 2 years experience in the outpatient setting

• RN experience in Behavioral Health with a focus on children and adolescents

• Bilingual English Spanish

Required Criteria:

• Master’s degree in Behavioral Health Advanced Practice

• NYS NP licensure

• Board Certification as PMHNP

• Minimum of two years NP experience or solid PMH RN experience

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and triage skills

• Current AHA BLS
