Director Patient Service Administration for Hospice and Home Care Services

We’re seeking a transformational leader at NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence to inspire quality across all aspects of patient care and drive the success of our Hospice and Home Care Services of Westchester.

Responsible for the Hospital's Patient Services administration. Investigates sensitive patient issues and takes corrective action as necessary to resolve same. Develops, secures approval of, implements, and monitors adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and budgets. In collaboration with management staff, develops and implements Hospital-wide policies and procedures where appropriate. Responsible for developing and implementing the short term and long term goals for the department that are consistent with Hospital-wide initiatives.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Master’s Degree in healthcare related discipline or allied health care profession
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Required Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • If RN, graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in New York State as a Registered Nurse
  • Seven to ten years of direct clinical experience
  • Knowledge and competence in community health principles.
  • Federal, state and local regulations including JCAHO.
  • Current NYS Nursing License and a car available for work.
