Clinical Neuroscience Supervisor – IOM - Day Shift

Under the supervision of the Clinical Neuroscience Management Team, provides supervision of technologists in the administration of EEG, EVOKED potential studies, nerve conduction studies, Epilepsy Monitoring Unit studies, and intra-operative monitoring studies in populations of all age groups, including neonates. Serves as a resource to physicians and other technologists and responsible to train and support technical staff at all levels.

This is a full time, day shift opportunity five days a week, plus evening, weekend, and on-call coverage as needed. Location is at our NYP Westchester in Bronxville; right across from the Metro North Train Station.

Preferred Criteria 

• Bachelor of Science from a college or university in a relevant field
• Prior supervisory experience

Required Criteria

• Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Program
• Credential in one of the fields: Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM), Electroencephalography (R.EEG T) and/or evoked potentials (R. EP T)
• Minimum of five years of technical experience
• Must possess an advanced knowledge of EEG abnormalities and seizure patterns, and a working knowledge of abnormalities on evoked potential studies, nerve conduction studies, and intraoperative studies  
• Knowledge of EEG, EVOKED potential studies, nerve conduction studies, Epilepsy Monitoring Unit studies, and intra-operative monitoring studies in populations of all age groups, including neonates
• High School Diploma or GED
