Transplant Quality Analyst


The Transplant Quality Coordinator will be responsible for collaborating with care team to promote safe and quality care. This individual will manage quality metrics and data from a variety of sources to enhance services and improve patient outcomes. In this role you will, contribute to the development of collateral and the maintenance of electronic resources for Service Line information. Maintain data collection tool and monitor progress on defined performance targets for the Center, identifying any barriers to achieving those targets.  Assist with regulatory survey preparation and reporting activities for announced and unannounced survey / regulatory reviews such as CMS, CMS Transplant FQAPI, Joint Commission, UNOS/OPTN Program Surveys, Living Donor Program surveys, and other regulatory agencies.


Preferred Criteria


  • Clinical degree
  • Knowledge of government regulation pertaining to transplant services
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, coding and reimbursement techniques


Required Criteria


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Two years of transplant experience and/or healthcare quality/analytics/healthcare informatics experience
  • Experience in the use of quality and process improvement techniques and tools
  • Proficiency with Computer and information systems and applications and strong computer skills including use of Outlook, Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, RedCap, and ability to learn and utilize on-line collection data sites, and the ability to utilize spreadsheets and programs to produce graphs and charts.
