Sr. Speech Language Pathologist-Head and Neck Cancer, Inpatient Acute Care, Outpatient Service
At New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, our Speech-Language Pathologists help patients with serious impairments connect with the world around them. Our tremendous team provides the expertise patients need to flourish in the areas of dysphagia and communication. We are always looking for better ways to accomplish this goal. We’re excited to announce our Head & Neck Cancer service is growing and we are expanding SLP services to best treat these patients. Our inpatient and outpatient volume is also increasing. As a therapist here, you’ll evaluate and treat adult patients with communication and swallowing disorders. Conduct objective swallowing assessments via Modified Barium Swallow Studies and/or Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing. Contribute to our multidisciplinary team. Work with a large, dynamic, and supportive department of clinicians.
This is a full-time position working Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday.
