Patient Care Director - RN - Cardiac Surgery StepDown

Manage the daily operations of this expanding and growing 36-bed unit to ensure personalized, evidence-based nursing practice and optimal patient flow. Inspire nurses to reach their full potential, and work closely with seasoned leaders who will help you reach yours. Continuously assess overall unit performance, and direct the implementation of initiatives aimed at maximizing revenues and reducing expenses while maintaining leading quality care.

 

Required Criteria

  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or health related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN
  • Current NYS RN licensure 
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience in an intensive care unit (ICU) or cardiac unit

Preferred Criteria:

  • Leadership experience
  • American Nurses Credentialing Center approved national board Certification
