At NYP, our housekeeping staff plays an essential role in delivering a top-notch patient experience by maintaining a culture of hospitality. Here, housekeeping is about more than just cleaning rooms—it’s about partnering in infection control to ensure patients are able to recover in a safe environment. It also means engaging in conversations with patients and their families to make them feel welcome and at home when under our care. Typically, our patients’ longest interactions are with support staff members, and when patients talk about their experience at NYP, they mention the quality time they spent with our support staff.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and the ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and polishing machines.
