The Clinical Pharmacy Manager/Specialist will develop and maintain a clinical pharmacy practice with the neonatal programs at NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. Responsibilities of the clinical pharmacy specialist include designing, implementing, monitoring, and teaching patient-specific pharmacotherapy as part of the multi-disciplinary team. Direct patient care activities, development of medication use guidelines/protocols, and outcomes monitoring are all areas of focus. The individuals chosen for this position will be integrated into an existing neonatal Pharmacy team. The clinical pharmacy specialist will also be involved with the education and training of pharmacy students, PGY-1 pharmacy residents, and PGY-2 residents. The practice site provides a positive working environment for professional growth and autonomy. The official title for this position is Clinical Pharmacy Manager.   


Preferred Criteria


  • One to three years of experience as a clinical pharmacy manager
  • A general or specialty Pediatric residency or fellowship

Required Criteria


  • Completion of an entry-level or post-baccalaureate Doctor of Pharmacy program or its equivalent
  • Knowledge of pharmacotherapy and knowledge in a specialty area
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to direct work, develop talent and drive engagement
