Clinical Nurse I - RN - Pediatric Float Pool - Nights

NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital is offering a new program for experienced pediatric nurses to expand their knowledge and clinical skills. The Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital Float Pool program allows experienced pediatric nurses to be trained on highly specialized units, while playing the important “extra hands” role on a unit. In this highly valued role, NYP Float Nurses are welcomed and feel the satisfaction of providing help for healthcare teams practicing caring and quality patient care.

Within the Pediatric Float Pool, you will rotate between all units in our Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, including PICU, NICU, Pediatric Med/Surg, Oncology, and more!

Preferred Criteria

• Strongly prefer Pediatric ICU nursing experience
• Prefer candidates with experience in a Children's Hospital and/or Academic Hospital setting

Required Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Current NYS RN licensure (or willingness to obtain)
• BCLS, PALS, NRP certifications
• At least two years acute care Pediatric RN experience
• Will also consider candidates with 18 months Pediatric Critical Care RN experience at a Children's Hospital
