Together, with the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, you’ll support programs aimed at creating the safest and healthiest environment possible for patients, staff, and the community. You’re enhancing processes, optimizing outcomes, and reaching program goals which include maintaining the readiness and preparedness of the hospital, training hospital staff, identifying gaps in preparedness, incident response and recovery.  Find out how you can help Make It Possible.

 

Utilize your outstanding organizational skills at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens and take on an integral role providing support for our Environment of Care.  In this role, you'll facilitate assurance of regulatory compliance for Emergency Preparedness matters.  Monitor, maintain and support organization-wide Emergency Preparedness (EP) required documentation, policies and procedures; communicate and coordinate among department heads, senior leadership, and outside agencies, vendors, and consultants as required. Collaborate with EOC leadership to ensure the success of the hospital emergency preparedness program.

 

Preferred Criteria

  • Master’s Degree

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration or related field.
  • FEMA training: ICS 100, 200, 700
