Wound Care Specialist Manager - Full time - Days

Carry out direct patient care at the expert level. Demonstrate expertise in all aspects of care, make independent decisions and act on those decisions with positive outcomes for wound, ostomy and continence patients. Partner closely with the Director of Nursing and collaborate with Patient Care Directors and staff across the hospital to evaluate patient care and drive positive outcomes. Guide clinical practice, identify educational needs and participate in development and revision of standards of care. This is your opportunity to enjoy flexible scheduling, shared clinical decision-making, inspirational leadership, supportive colleagues and much more.

Position is a Full time , 4 10hour Day shifts per week

Required Criteria

  • Master’s Degree required
  • Current New York State License as a Registered Nurse required (or eligble to obtain within two months)
  • Certification in Wound and Ostomy care required (CWOCN or CWON)
  • Minimum of 3 years of acute care RN experience in Wound and Ostomy care required
  • BCLS required for all nurses who provide direct patient care
